P&O Cruises marks National Travel Agent Day with free holidays, double Shine points
P&O Cruises is marking National Travel Agent Day with free holidays for agents and double Shine points
National Travel Agent Day takes place on Friday September 5 and P&O Cruises will support agents by giving away double Shine points plus a competition to win free holidays.
“National Travel Agent Day is the perfect opportunity for us to recognise and reward the hard work of our trade partners,” said P&O Cruises associate VP, sales and distribution, Ruth Venn.
“Agents not only go above and beyond on campaigns and launches, but fully engage with our training and do the very best for their customers.”
From September 5 to 8, 2025, P&O Cruises is offering agents the chance to win two holidays: one for themselves and a guest, and another for a fellow travel agent of their choice.
To enter, agents simply need to tag a colleague they believe has truly shone this year in one of P&O Cruises National Travel Agent Day social media posts.
Both the nominator and their nominee will then be entered into the prize draw.
Each winner will receive a separate seven-night holiday for two in a balcony cabin, sailing round-trip from Southampton.
It could be a journey to Northern Europe, the Norwegian fjords or to Spain and Portugal.
The nominated colleague does not need to work for the same agency but must be a member of Shine Rewards Club to claim the prize.
In addition, agents booking and spinning a Select Price holiday between September 5 and 8, 2025 will earn double Shine points.
These points can be redeemed towards a P&O Cruises holiday or exchanged for high street vouchers.
On National Travel Agent Day itself, the P&O Cruises sales team, chief commercial officer Stuart Allison and associate VP, sales and distribution Ruth Venn will be on the road visiting agents, homeworkers, head offices and call centres delivering hampers and vouchers.
