P&O onboard with FIFA World Cup
Sports fans will be kept happy onboard P&O Cruises’ ships, with the cruise line set to screen live coverage of the FIFA World Cup as well as a host of other major sporting events.
P&O Cruises’ guests will be able to keep up with the action during June and July with a number of World Cup matches shown on the big screen and in other public areas across P&O Cruises’ three ships.
As well as screening the FIFA World Cup matches, P&O Cruises will continue to air live footage of the upcoming NRL and AFL seasons, as well as showing action live from the Melbourne Cup and Australian Open tennis during its dedicated P&O MainEvents cruises to Melbourne in November and January.
"Australians are a nation of diehard sports fans so it’s hardly surprising that we received great feedback from our passengers when we began screening live footage of NRL and AFL matches in 2012," said P&O Cruises SVP Tammy Marshall
