Police appeal for images and footage of Brussels terror attacks

Sunday, 23 Mar, 2016 0

Travellers who have footage and images from the terror attacks in Brussels are being urged to share them with police.

Police in the UK say British nationals who were at the airport or in the vicinity of the metro station might have vital information to assist the investigation.

Footage taken with mobile phones has been emerging on social media and in the press since the explosions yesterday.

The National Police Chiefs’ Council has set up a website page where photographs and videos can be uploaded.

Police have already released this image, taken from CCTV footage, showing a suspect at Brussels Airport who they believe fled after the attacks.

He was pictured walking alongside two other men, also pushing trolleys, who are thought to be suicide bombers.

They were wearing dark clothes and each was wearing just one glove, believed to have possibly hidden the bomb detonators.
