Police probe flight attendant’s mysterious death
An American Airlines flight attendant has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in a hotel.
The 66-year old female was found dead with a sock in her mouth during a stay at a hotel near Philadelphia Airport.
She was discovered by housekeeping staff.
Investigators said she should have checked out of the room two days earlier.
They said there were no signs of a struggle or forced entry.
An autopsy is now planned to determine the cause of death.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small called the death ‘suspicious’ although the woman was on various medications
Homicide detectives are working the case.
The Las Vegas resident hasn’t been named.
