Portman Travel Group introduces new sports travel DMC
Portman Travel Group’s Sports Division has announced the creation of a new destination management company – Amaze.
The pan-European business will specialise in destination management services within sports travel.
Led by Managing Director, Ralf Staheli, who was Head of Sports at Kuoni for over 20 years, Amaze has a team of 15 individuals based across Europe with experience and expertise spanning several decades.
Amaze will work with sports teams and organisations across multiple professional sports, including football and Rugby Union.
Amaze will sit alongside its sister brands, Clarity Sport, sportsbreaks.com and the recently acquired Inspiresport within Portman’s growing sports division.
Paul Hemingway, who heads up the development of its sports businesses, said: "The launch of Amaze is a further exciting piece of the jigsaw and sees us jump straight into the leading position within destination management of professional sports teams across Europe.
