Postponed agents’ cruise conference to be held in September
CLIA UK’s delayed inaugural overseas travel agents’ conference, Cruise 360, will be held in Copenhagen in September.
The event was originally due to take place in Marseille last year, but CLIA postponed the event, blaming uncertainty following the EU referendum.
At this week’s CLIA UK conference, director Andy Harmer announced Cruise 360 has now been confirmed for September 9 to 11 with the theme ‘Discover Together’.
Sessions will include reviews of major cruise destinations.
Harmer said: "We are thrilled to welcome our keynote speakers to the first ever Cruise360 Europe to share their insight into the importance of enriching destination experiences.
"With the opportunity to explore Copenhagen as a destination itself, two cruise line ship visits, training and speaker sessions, we look forward to welcoming our agent partners for the inaugural Cruise360 Europe which promises to be a fantastic event."
Speakers will include RCL Cruises’ Stuart Leven, Celestyal Cruises’ Kyriakos Anastassidadis, Seabourn expedition team leader Robin West and CLIA’s head of international training and development.
There will be optional ship visit to Regent Seven Seas Explorer on September 8.
