Premium passengers help BA in November
A 3.7% rise in premium passengers helped British Airways offset a 1.6% decline in economy travellers in November.
The airline saw overall traffic drop by 0.8% in the month, with the load factor down 0.3 points to 69.8% over November 2005 when there was 0.7% less capacity available.
BA described underlying market conditions as being “broadly unchanged” saying: “Bookings are continuing to recover supported by common European carry-on baggage standards and improved performance at Heathrow.”
