Prices cut by Louis Cruise Lines

Louis Cruise Lines has cut prices of sailings in the Aegean this summer in a second edition 2009 brochure.

Cruise-only prices for seven-nights on the 1,200-passenger Cristal are down from £529 to £459 based on two sharing an inside cabin.

For bookings made by March 31, the rate is down to £399.

Similar reductions have been made across all cabin categories and on short cruises operated by the Aegean Pearl and Aquamarine for three and four nights from Piraeus (Athens).

The company is also providing 200 mainly independent agents with direct access to its central reservations system as an alternative to having to calling it London office to make bookings.

If a sufficient number of agents make use of the facility, access will be opened to all agents in the UK.

UK manager Peter Adamou said: “We are happy for agents to go straight into the system to check availability and book, but many still prefer to call us with questions – particularly when dove-tailing flights and hotels with our sailing schedule.”
