Princess Cruises cancels Cabo port call
Princess Cruises has cancelled a scheduled port call on Friday at Cabo San Lucas, as the Baja peninsula region continues to clean up after Hurricane Odile.
The 1,970-passenger Coral Princess will instead call at Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s west coast.
The Carnival Miracle also has a scheduled stop in Cabo in early October.
A spokesman for the line said it continues to monitor the recovery of the area before making a decision.
The destruction wrought by Hurricane Odile has claimed the lives of 6 people and almost 27,000 tourists were airlifted out in the following days.
