Princess showcases Coronation themed events for Southampton ships
Princess Cruises unveiled an array of themed events and entertainment for the crowning of King Charles III next month.
Guests on Sky Princess and Regal Princess sailing out of Southampton, will enjoy various activities to celebrate the coronation.
Aboard both ships on 6 May, live coverage of the Coronation and Concert at Windsor Castle will be shown on the ‘Movies Under the Stars’ jumbotron.
‘The Biggest Street Party’ will be replicated on top deck.
A ‘Royal Afternoon Tea’ will be served on both ships, complete with British favourites like Victoria sponge cake.
Pimms and strawberries will be served on the top deck along with British cuisine in World Fresh Marketplace.
There are talks from guest speaker Grant Harrold, former butler of the King onboard Regal Princess between 3 and 5 May and on Sky Princess between 6 and 13 May.
On Sky Princess Coronation-themed entertainment includes a special ‘Royal Variety Show’– featuring a tribute to Elton John.
