Pro golfer’s clubs lost by American Airlines found in sports store
Thanks to eagle-eyed fans, a pro golfer had a happy reunion with her prized golf clubs.
In-Kyung Kim, the world no 7, traveled with American Airlines in January, but the airline managed to ‘lose’ the clubs in transit during a Miami to San Diego flight.
The airline rather unhelpfully suggested she just rent a set.

Three golfers had watched Kim in a TV segment called ‘What’s in the Bag?’ and then recognized her missing clubs for sale.
The three bought the clubs and via Carlsbad police department, they were shipped off to a relieved Kim.
This time they reached their intended destination.
They were clubs she used to win the Women’s British Open in 2017, several of which are no longer in production.
"There are good people out there," Kim said, in praise of the three, who were named only as Jack, Jeff, and Paul.
It still remains a mystery how the set made its way to the golf store, but due to Carlsbad’s proximity to San Diego, they likely arrived at the correct destination, possibly on a later flight.
Carlsbad police are still investigating.
