Qantas, Air France expand partnership
Air France-KLM and Qantas are expanding their existing partnership.
The airlines aim to streamline flight connections between Europe and Australia and expand loyalty program benefits.
The partnership expands the codesharing of Qantas’ direct Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Perth.
The route marks its one-year anniversary this month.
Additionally, Air France is adding Tokyo Haneda Airport as a connecting hub airport for flights on both airlines.
Passengers traveling via Singapore Changi and Hong Kong can also seamlessly connect on to Qantas flights to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth.
The expanded partnership offers additional ways to earn and redeem Qantas points on Air France and KLM flights.
For the first time, Air France-KLM Flying Blue members can redeem points for travel in Qantas First Class.
Also, Flying Blue Ultimate members will get access to Qantas First Class airport lounges.
