Qantas Getaways go Gourmet
Qantas Holidays has announced an exciting new range of Gourmet Getaways for food and wine lovers to tour Australia’s famous culinary regions, including the Barossa Valley, Tasmania’s Gordon River, the Yarra Valley and Mildura region and of course, the Hunter Valley.
Jenny Lourey, Qantas Holidays’ General Manager said that around four million Australians visited a vineyard in the past year and these new holiday packages were developed due to increasing demand for culinary travel breaks in Australia.
She added that whether it is a quick weekend or more leisurely break, Qantas Holidays has a package to suit and cater for all budgets and tastes and our new Gourmet Getaway flyer covers everything from tours, deals on hire cars, accommodation options and even background on the different regions.
Programmes include: –
Barossa Valley four-night getaway: Including Cellar Door Pass with access to five wine growing regions, accommodation and five days car hire – $A524*.
Travel from the 1–30 November, 6–19 December and 6 January-11 March.
Victoria’s Mildura region four nights: Including accommodation and five days Hertz Group B car hire – $A411* for travel between the 1–19 December and 1–28 February.
Qantas Holidays also announced that to celebrate the launch of these new Gourmet Getaway packages customers booking and paying for a Hertz hire car before the 31 January 2007 as part of a Gourmet Getaway will go into a draw to win a Toyota Camry Sportivo.
