Qantas launches domestic fare war
SYDNEY – Qantas today launched a major domestic sale offering two million seats from as low as A$55.
The sale takes Qantas fares to a level that challenges rivals Virgin Blue and low-cost leader Tiger Airways.
All-inclusive one way Qantas and QantasLink sale fares are available for travel 24 March-7 April 2009 or 29 April-17 September 2009
Executive general manager, John Borghetti, said the Qantas Domestic Bliss Sale covered 38 domestic and regional destinations.
“The fares we are offering represent up to 40 per cent below our year round lead-in domestic Economy fares.†he said.
The Qantas Domestic Bliss Sale will run until midnight (AEDST) on Monday, March 2.
