Qatar Airways is adding a third daily flight to Indonesian holiday hotspot Bali.

The new flight begins on May 7 and will be operated by two-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets for the first time

Qatar Air first began flying direct to Bali in 2014.

"The start of triple daily non-stop services from Doha to Bali Denpasar offers passengers from our global network even greater access to this popular leisure destination with smooth international transfers and a variety of times to suit their own schedules," said CEO Akbar Al Baker.

"We are delighted to confirm that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate the third frequency on this route, complemented by our other wide body aircraft, the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330."

Bali was recently named the world’s best tourist destination by TripAdvisor, the first in Asia to do so.
