Qatar Airways expands into Europe and Asia

Qatar Airways will add six new European and Asian routes to its services from October.
New routes added by the Doha-based airline are:
– Thrice weekly flights to Nice via Milan from November 24
– Four flights a week to Bucharest from January 17
– Five flights a week to Brussels from January 31
– Daily flights to Phuket via Kuala Lumpur from October 11
– Four flights a week to Hanoi via Bangkok from November 1
Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker said: “Budapest, Bucharest, Brussels, Nice, Hanoi and Phuket represent markets underserved so these are excellent opportunities for us to tap into."
This Thursday the carrier introduces its South America service when it launches flights to the Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.
