Qatar Airways launches direct flight to Tokyo
Qatar continues its growth as an international hub with the launch of daily flights to Tokyo from October.
The new Qatar Airways flight means there will be two daily flights to Japan from Doha as a service already runs to Osaka.
The airline hopes to connect passengers from Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East as well as bringing Japanese travellers to Europe and America.
Since the beginning of the year, Qatar Airways has launched flights to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Rwanda, Croatia and Iraq with more new destinations planned during 2012.
