Qatar Airways opens Harrods ticket office
Qatar Airways has opened its flagship ticket office in Harrods.
The new office will offer a personalised booking service with a collection of luxury brands.
"London is one of our most important gateways," said Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker.
"We are opening our ticket office in central London at Harrods as it is a place that not only reflects the high level of service we offer, but is where our most discerning customers can be found.
Qatar Airways was the first to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner into the UK in December with scheduled flights from London Heathrow.
The airline has launched six destinations this year – Gassim (Saudi Arabia), Najaf (Iraq), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Chicago (USA), Salalah (Oman) and Basra (Iraq).
Further destinations to start soon are Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, Chengdu in China, Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, Clark International Airport in the Philippines and Philadelphia, USA.
