QBT and Uniglobe cement partnership

Saturday, 12 Jul, 2010 0

Australian travel company QBT has become global partners with Uniglobe, meaning strong deals for agents booking Australasia holidays.

QBT, which used to be called Qantas Business Travel, is a member of the Jetset Travelworld Group whose other brands include Qantas Holidays, Viva! Holidays, Jetset, Travelworld, Orient Pacific and Ready Rooms.

The deal will see Uniglobe UK agents get access to locally-negotiated air fares and hotel rates.

The move was announced at Uniglobe’s recent conference in Barcelona where it was also revealed that UK-based Uniglobe Preferred Travel had inked a deal with colleagues in India to partner on a £3.5million global account, the UK end of which will bring in around £500,000.
