Radisson Edwardian to open hotel in Canary Wharf
Radisson Edwardian Hotels is to open a four-star deluxe, 169-bedroom hotel at its ‘New Providence Wharf’ development in London’s Docklands.
Called The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf will be operated by Radisson Edwardian under a long-term management contract.
It is scheduled to open on September 10 and is designed to meet increasing demand for luxury accommodation in the Canary Wharf area.
“The hotel is ideally located close to Canary Wharf, London City Airport, and Excel, where the annual travel show, World Travel Market, takes place,” says Paul Duggan, general manager.
“It is near Greenwich Park, the venue for some of the events for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Also nearby is the former Millennium Dome, now called O2, which is a huge arena for staging concerts, sporting events, cinemas and exhibitions.”
