Radisson signs agreement for Rome Fiumicino hotel
Radisson Hospitality has signed an agreement for a Radisson Blu Hotel at Rome Fiumicino International Airport.
It will be the fourth Radisson Blu in Italy for the company, which is part of Radisson Hotel Group.
Elie Younes, executive vice president and chief development officer for Radisson Hotel Group, said: "Rome Airport has transformed itself and recently took pole position in Europe in terms of customer service and experience. Italy is now a key focus market for our organic growth and will soon see a wider range of Radisson Hotel Group properties arriving in key cities and destinations."
Due to open in 2022, the hotel will have 289 rooms, an all-day restaurant, lobby bar, and gym, and will be linked to the terminal.
Rome city centre can be reached on the Leonardo Express and guests will also have high-speed train access direct from Fiumicino to Florence, Bologna and Venice.
