Radisson signs Phuket hotel
Radisson Hotel Group has inked a management contract for a new upscale resort in Phuket.
In partnership with Thai-Chinese Property Holdings, Radisson Phuket Mai Khao Beach will open in 2023, featuring 222 contemporary rooms and suites.
It includes two-bedroom suites and more than 20 units will have private pools.
Mai Khao Beach is situated just 15 minutes from Phuket airport and overlooks the Andaman Sea.
"Phuket is the perfect fit for our upscale Radisson brand. The signing of this new property reflects our confidence in Thailand’s tourism industry," said Katerina Giannouka, Radisson’s president, Asia Pacific.
Resort amenities include an expansive outdoor lagoon pool, a fitness centre, a kid’s club, meeting space and multiple dining options.
Units are available to buy at the resort under a sale and leaseback arrangement.
Radisson Hotel Group also operates four hotels in Bangkok.
