Radisson to install EV charging at hotels across Europe
Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Allego to develop a Europe-wide charging network for electric vehicles
Allego is a major provider of electric vehicle charging solutions across Europe.
This partnership aims to deploy and operate ultra-fast, fast and regular charging solutions for electric vehicles at over 220 Radisson Hotel Group locations across Europe, starting in the UK and the Nordics, with other European countries including Germany, France, and the Netherlands to follow.
The partnership aims that each European Radisson Hotel Group property will offer EV charging to its guests on site by 2025.
Allego’s charging solutions enable a full charge in as little as 15 minutes.
The collaboration will anable easy payment capabilities for charging sessions via credit, debit and charge cards.
"Passenger EV sales are set to increase sharply in the next few years, rising from 3.1 million in 2020 to 14 million in 2025. The partnership with Allego highlights how Radisson Hotel Group is acting today for the future benefit of all," said Chema Basterrechea, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Radisson Hotel Group.
