Rajesh Shetty joins Mantra on Salt
Mantra Hotels, Resorts and Apartments today announced it had appointed Rajesh Shetty to the role of Resort Manager for the Mantra on Salt Beach Resort, Kingscliff, with Mr Shetty having held several senior management positions in the hospitality industry in both Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
He assumes the role having previously worked as Rooms Division Manager and Executive Assistant Manager at Mantra on Salt Beach, having previously worked in Dubai as Manager of the Rimal Rotana Suites and as Executive Assistant Manager for Rooms at the Towers Rotana Hotel.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics and is certified in several hospitality courses from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, New York.
Formerly known as Outrigger on the Beach at Salt, the four-and-a-half star Mantra on Salt Beach opened in January 2005 and is one of Kingscliff’s premier beachside resorts.
Mantra is a division of Stella Hospitality Group and currently operates 22 resorts nationally with in excess of 2000 rooms.
