Ramsay going after “no-tell†hotel Hell
The US’s Fox News is working with Gordon Ramsay on a new hotel-themed reality TV show about the country’s worst hotels.
In the new show, titled Hotel Hell, Ramsay and a team of hospitality experts will travel around the US to turn around struggling hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts.
Hotel Hell will be produced by Ramsay and US television network Fox.
“These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster. It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test,” Ramsay told Reuters.
The team will expose dirty rooms, decaying bathrooms and incompetent staffers.
“From dirty bedrooms and mold-ridden bathrooms to incompetent staff or customer service that’s not up to par, Ramsay and his team will work with the hotel employees to turn these hapless establishments around,” said Fox in a statement.
It adds:
“As he tries to turn these `No’-tels into successful hotels, Ramsay – in his own inimitable style – will go head-to-head with the owners.”
