In a media lunch taking place next week, which The Mole will be attending, according to Richard Cranmer, who represents RCI in Australia, Royal Caribbean’s Miami-based associate VP International, Magnus Wrahme will announce future plans for the region.

Wrahme, who joined Royal Caribbean in 1998, was formerly regional director of sales for southern Europe, based in the UK and he was appointed to his current position in September last year, playing a key role in the globalization of the brand.

The 2,435-passenger Rhapsody of the Seas returned to Sydney on October 19 and is currently operating a six-month extended season in the South Pacific and she will return to Sydney again on October 17 next year from a repositioning voyage ex-Honolulu to commence an extended 2009/2010 Down Under programme.
