Record recruits for online travel training
Agents looking for online travel training are up by 60% since last year, reports an online travel trainer.
Travel Uni says its new format focusing on ‘how to sell’, which includes sales tips, itinerary ideas as well as product knowledge, has led to record registrations.
The most popular courses have been Cruising, Thailand, Las Vegas, Barbados and Tenerife.
Cruise association, CLIA also reported a 60% increase in agents registering for e-learning last week, launching seven new modules, see previous story.
Travel Uni associate director, Sally Oakey, said: "Agents clearly recognise the importance of building their product knowledge to enhance sales."
