Redundancies at Libra, Argo and Jetlife
Staff have entered into a 30-day consultation period over redundancies at the newly merged Libra Holidays, Argo Holidays and Jetlife.
The company, recently renamed as Allbury Travel Group, issued a statement saying it regrets to announce that it may have to consider making a number of redundancies across the business.
Chief executive officer Eamonn Ferrin said: “It is with regret that I announce our decision to enter the consultation process and I appreciate that this will be a challenging time for the whole team.
“However, whilst it is a difficult process we are confident that the Company will go from strength to strength.”
The overall group changed its name to Allbury Travel Group following new ownership, although the Libra operating brand name remains.
As part of the repositioning of the business, new private investors took a majority stake in the company. Libra Group Cyprus is now a minority shareholder.
