Report reveals buying habits of 16,000
The British Travel Awards has released its new industry report based on the views of 16,000 consumers.
The report harnesses the statistics used to inform the BTA’s Travel Vision 2010 CIMTIG lecture which presented holiday predictions for 2010.
BTA chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “The BTA survey statistics, which were used to compile the Travel Vision 2010 report, is the UK’s largest and most credible set of figures showing what the travelling public intend to do, rather than what they have already done. The report provides the industry with valuable insight into issues such as which destinations are tipped to show most growth, how far in advance consumers intend to book, what’s happening with cruise and reveals the activity holiday predicted to go into decline.”
