Reward offered for stolen Harris hawk that patrols Heathrow
A £1,000 reward has been offered for the safe return of the Harris hawk that patrols the skies around Heathrow, who was stolen last week.
Six-year-old Milo, who is employed to scare away other birds, was stolen from his owner’s van.
Owner Layla Bennett thinks the thieves were looking for tools, but took Milo from his box on the back seat when they couldn’t find anything.
CCTV footage shows him being mishandled as he is removed and thrown in the back of a silver Mercedes C-Class.
Ms Bennett says she is worried Milo will not be able to survive on his own.
