Rex adds Adelaide flights from Brisbane
Regional carrier Rex recently expanded its presence at Brisbane with new Adelaide flights.
Rex now serves three state capitals from Brisbane.
Daily Adelaide flights from Brisbane are operated by a Boeing 737-800NG.
It adds up to an additional 124,000 seats a year between Brisbane and Adelaide.
Prior to the pandemic, 875,000 people flew between the two cities, Rex Deputy Chairman, John Sharp says.
“The strong forward bookings show demand is roaring back,” Sharp said.
Brisbane Airport’s Gert-Jan de Graaff said: “The Adelaide flights by Rex restores capacity between Brisbane and Adelaide to pre-pandemic levels. This a great result for travellers from two states.”
Rex Group unit National Jet Express will operate Rex’s Perth-Carnarvon flights three times a week and. later this month, Rex’s new Brisbane-Cairns service.
