Rex adds another Boeing 737 jet
Australian regional airline Rex has taken delivery of a ninth Boeing 737-800NG.
The aircraft will enter service next month enabling the airline to launch its new regional flights between Adelaide and Brisbane on 30 October.
It follows Rex’s eighth Boeing 737-800NG entering service last month.
The growing Boeing fleet allows Rex to further increase its regional flights across all the Australian state capitals.
Rex now has ten domestic routes connecting capital cities and holiday destinations.
The airline will add another two more Boeing 737-800NG aircraft before the end of the financial year.
“Australians are crying out for an airline like Rex that has over 20 years of safe, reliable service,” Rex Deputy Chairman, John Sharp AM, said.
“We are confident that with the continued growth, more and more Australians will to the only true Australian carrier they can trust.”
