Travelers are not discouraged from taking leisure trips despite rising gas prices, says AAA.
In checking AAA Auto Club South, the organization found that 93% of members in three states plan no let-up in summer trips.
Other findings:
- More than two-thirds of those surveyed said they planned at least one leisure trip in the next year.
- Six in 10 members say high gas prices will not make them cancel their plans but could affect future travel plans and destinations.
