The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco celebrates 35 years with coral-inspired spring experience

A beloved San Francisco icon since 1991, The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco  celebrates its 35th Anniversary this spring with a thoughtfully curated lineup of coral-inspired culinary experiences and a trio of signature cocktails, artistic collaborations, and a seasonal stay package, honoring both the hotel’s legacy and its commitment to meaningful luxury.
Perched atop Nob Hill in a historic Neoclassical landmark, the hotel invites guests and locals alike to toast to 35 years of service excellence with experiences that reflect the spirit of celebration, creativity, and community.
The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco created a special Coral Anniversary Spring Package. Guests looking to fully immerse themselves in the anniversary celebration are invited to book the Coral Anniversary Spring Package, also available from March 21 to May 31, which includes:
  • Luxurious accommodations in a guestroom or suite
  • Exclusive Neiman Marcus San Francisco shopping experience including champagne and macaroons upon arrival and spring fashion consultation (optional facial or makeup application)
  • $50 daily food and beverage credit
  • Daily valet parking

A portion of the proceeds from the Coral Anniversary Spring Package will also benefit Coral Reef Alliance, supporting global coral conservation efforts.

35th Anniversary Coral Tea

At the heart of the anniversary programming is the 35th Anniversary Coral Tea, a refined afternoon tea experience inspired by coral – both the vibrant hue and the delicate marine organism.

The experience begins with a Veuve Clicquot Champagne toast, followed by a premium tea service featuring an elegant selection of dedicated savory and sweet menu offerings thoughtfully designed around seasonal and tropical flavors such as duck salad sandwich with fresh herbs, lettuce, crispy rice paper, mango chutney; smoked salmon sandwich with Yuzu kosho chèvre, salmon roe or French-style ham & piccalilli mustard grain aioli and apples.

A Sweet Tea Menu proposes among others Passionfruit Orange Guava Mousse; Mango Raspberry Tea Cake or Ube Cheesecake with coconut sable and sugar bubble dragées.

On Saturday, March 21, guests attending the Coral Tea can also enjoy a live portrait session by Meagan Morrison (@TravelWriteDraw), an acclaimed fashion illustrator known for her vibrant, hand-drawn portraits inspired by destinations around the world. Portraits are available by reservation only and include one adult and up to two children per illustration, based on availability. A portion of the proceeds from the Coral Tea will benefit Coral Reef Alliance, supporting global coral conservation efforts.

Coral-Inspired Cocktails in The Lounge

To complement the anniversary celebration, guests are invited to enjoy three coral-hued cocktails, exclusively available in The Lounge from March 21-May 31:
  • The Coral – Ketel One Peach & Orange Blossom Vodka, Aperol, lime juice, simple syrup
