Ritz-Carlton Yacht Luminara begins Hong Kong cruise season
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Luminara has made its debut in Hong Kong.
The luxury vessel was welcomed with a water salute and traditional lion dances.
It was attended by a host of dignitaries led by HK secretary for culture, sports and tourism, Rosanna Law.
Luminara homeports in HK until mid-April.
According to Law, Hong Kong handled 189 cruise ship calls last year, up by more than one quarter year-on-year.
“Luminara demonstrates that Hong Kong not only attracts large and well-known cruises to Hong Kong, but has also drawn super-luxury vessels targeting high-end international visitors,” Law said.
Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection started sailing in Asia-Pacific in late 2025 with itineraries from Singapore.
“Our Asia-Pacific itineraries invite guests to experience the region in a more intimate and unhurried way, pairing marquee cities with more secluded islands,” said Ernesto Fara, CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
The ship is sailing itineraries from Hong Kong to Tokyo or Singapore.
They include calls at Osaka and Incheon as well as Bangkok, Halong Bay and Ho Chi Minh City.
