Riviera Travel announces travel agent engagement committee
Applications are open to be a member of Riviera Travel’s new travel agent engagement committee.
Following a recent survey, completed by almost 500 agents, Riviera announced the committee to help steer future trade support initiatives.
The survey, which asked agents to rate Riviera’s performance in certain areas out of five, highlighted successes.
It found over 90% rated ease of booking, quality social content and trade friendliness at four or above.
The survey also found 77% of agents felt confident in selling river cruise which Riviera has identified as an area to improve.
The travel agent committee will convene twice a year, in-person, to share feedback, opinions, and areas for improvement.
They will be asked for input on product development, marketing, training, plus incentive and engagement initiatives.
Tom Morgan, Head of Trade, said: “We recognise the vital role of travel agents are always looking for ways to better serve their needs.”
“The group will represent all types of agents including high street, homeworkers, call centres and OTAs.”
A £100 voucher was offered as a prize drawer for completing the survey.
To apply for a seat on the committee, travel agents should email Riviera at [email protected].
