Riviera Travel partners with English Heritage
River cruise and escorted tour operator Riviera Travel has joined hands with English Heritage.
The long-term partnership has been established to help mark the 40th anniversary of Riviera’s first escorted tour, which takes place in March next year.
English Heritage cares for over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites right across England.
These include ancient sites such as Stonehenge, Roman forts on Hadrian’s Wall, and medieval castles like Dover Castle.
These sites attract over 10 million visitors each year.
Riviera becomes the headline sponsor of English Heritage’s Members’ Week in April 2024, and will support a number of other events across the year.
The English Heritage Members’ Week (6-14 April 2024) sees the charity’s 1.2m members enjoying hundreds of exclusive events at historic sites.
These typically comprise expert tours and behind-the-scenes visits, as well as special discounts and competitions.
Vicky Billing, Head of Partnerships at Riviera Travel, said: “With our 40th anniversary just around the corner, we were keen to partner with an organisation that can help highlight our progress across the past four decades.”
“English Heritage fit the bill perfectly as we share the same values and customer connections.”
Tom Gannagé-Stewart, Head of Corporate Partnerships at English Heritage, said: “English Heritage is excited to be teaming up with a leading UK travel business”.
“We are especially pleased that Riviera is supporting our Members’ Week, which is an absolutely fantastic showcase of the very best of English Heritage.”
