Rochester Catalog Lists Student Group Options
VisitRochester’s new 34-page student/youth tour planner, “Great Expeditions,” abounds with group opportunities in Greater Rochester, which includes New York’s Finger Lakes, Seaway Trail and Genesee Valley.
Tours and activities range from an overnight at the Rochester Museum & Science Center to boating on the Erie Canal. Musical groups can perform at such venues as the Seneca Park Zoo, Genesee Country Village & Museum, and Waterloo Premium Outlets. Music, dance and theater students can attend workshops and take backstage tours, while science programs include the physics of rides at Seabreeze Amusement Park.
Descriptions of each learning opportunity give the educational goals, grade level, running time and group minimum/maximum. (800-677-7282, www.visitrochester.com)
