Rockets fired at Red Sea resort
Four people have been injured, one seriously, after up to five rockets were fired at the popular Red Sea beach resort of Eilat and the nearby Jordanian port of Aqaba.
According to the BBC, the casualties were in Aqaba, less than 10 kms from Eilat, where one rocket struck.
Unconfirmed reports state that five shots were heard early this morning and that one of the rockets fell near a hotel in Eilat, but there are believed to be no casualties in the Red Sea resort.
Two rockets landed in the sea.
It is the second time rockets have been fired towards Eilat and Aqaba this year and, in January 2007, three people were killed in Eilat by a suicide bomber.
