Routehappy signs another GDS partnership with Amadeus
Airline rich content provider Routehappy by ATPCO has partnered with travel trade tech platform Amadeus to bring its cabin amenity data to a wider customer base.
Routehappy’s rich content will be integrated within the Amadeus system which enables airlines to display their product portfolio via multiple Amadeus channels.
Routehappy content includes seat type, cabin layout, in-flight entertainment options, Wi-Fi, power outlet availability, and food options.
It features product descriptions and photos of available amenities.
It is the second GDS deal after partnering with Sabre in 2016.
The agreement sees the content on the Selling Platform Connect which displays the rich content through the Amadeus Web Services direct to customers via OTA platforms.
This is the first redistribution agreement for Routehappy.
"Our mission is to differentiate and better monetize flight shopping. We’re platform, channel and delivery agnostic to help airlines differentiate in all sales channels direct and indirect, so our Amadeus partnership is a huge step forward in reaching distribution ubiquity for airlines," said Robert Albert, CEO of Routehappy by ATPCO.
Full implementation within Amadeus will be completed over the course of this year.
The agreement ensures ‘agents can deliver a more comprehensive service and experience to their customers,’ said Decius Valmorbida, SVP of travel channels at Amadeus.
