Royal Caribbean appoints brand presidents
“Increasing differentiation” between the Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises brands has led to the creation of brand president roles for the sister cruise lines.
Adam Goldstein becomes president of Royal Caribbean International and Dan Hanrahan president of Celebrity Cruises.
They will be responsible for fleet operations, sales and marketing, and brand development for each line.
Mr Goldstein has been executive vice-president for Royal Caribbean since 2002, managing fleet operations, sales and marketing, supply chain management and Royal Celebrity Tours.
Mr Hanrahan has been Royal Caribbean’s marketing and sales senior vice-president since joining the company in 1999.
President and chief operating officer Jack Williams said: “Both individuals are exceptional – in their passion for our brands, their vision for the future, and their caring for our employees. Both take on brands that are at tremendously exciting stages of growth, which they will help drive to even greater success.”
Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises are brands operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises which has a combined fleet of 29 ships plus two under construction.
