Royal Caribbean unveils name for new Quantum Ultra ship
Royal Caribbean International has unveiled the name of its latest addition.
As it cut the first piece of steel for its Quantum Ultra ship this week, the cruise line confirmed it will be called Spectrum of the Seas.
Set to debut in 2019, Spectrum will be the ‘next evolution’ of the cruise line’s ‘groundbreaking and high-tech’ Quantum class of ships.
It is being designed specifically for guests in China and the Asia-Pacific region.
Michael Bayley, RCI president and CEO, promised a ‘leap forward’ in vessel design and guest experiences.
