Royal Caribbean’s second Quantum Ultra-class ship coming to Port Everglades
Royal Caribbean will debut its Quantum Ultra-class in South Florida next year.
The second Quantum Ultra-class ship, Odyssey of the Seas, will be the first in the US and the second to be launched.
The line’s first Quantum Ultra class ship Spectrum of the Seas was introduced earlier this year in China.
Odyssey will homeport in Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades in November 2020 and sail six-to-eight night Caribbean cruises.
Calls include Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Aruba and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
The 168,600gt ship will then head to Europe for the 2021 summer season.
The line’s 27th ship will have Quantum-class amenities like RipCord by iFLY sky-diving, the North Star observation capsule plus an ice rink and bumper cars.
Qdyssey will ‘represent the next evolution of Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking and high-tech Quantum Class’ the company says.
Bookings are now live.
