RWA signs deal with overseas low-cost airline
Tour operator system specialist RWA has signed a deal to provide its Sell-It Suite technology to a major overseas low-cost airline.
The airline plans to use the technology to develop and manage a holidays’ business based on its flights.
RWA will be building a link between Sell-It Suite and the airline’s reservation system to enable holiday search, booking and fulfilment.
The technology will also be used to allow for dynamic packaging to be carried out on the airline’s website.
RWA business development director Mark Bradbury declined to name the airline but said it was the leader in its region.
“The company is taking our complete system and integrating it into their flight system and they will use it for ground management including hotels, car-hire, sightseeing tours and insurance.”
The plan is for the project to go live in the final quarter of this year.
