Ryanair cuts some of most unpopular fees
Ryanair has lowered its missed departure fee and airport check-in fees, as part of its three-year plan to improve the customer experience.
The airport check-in fee has almost halved from €70 to €45, but its missed departure fee has been reduced only slightly from €110 to €100.
Last week the airline announced it was changing its sports equipment carriage fees, which cut the cost for those with small pieces of equipment but increased the fee for those with larger items such as bikes and surfboards.
It said further services improvements and ‘exciting digital developments’ will be introduced over the coming year as part of the airline’s three-year ‘Always Getting Better’ customer service improvement programme.
