Ryanair flight turns back after declaring emergency
Ryanair Flight FR5771 was forced to turn back to Glasgow this morning after the pilot declared an emergency.
The flight, bound for Dublin, had departed Glasgow on time at 8.40am but was forced to turn back as it crossed the Scottish coastline.
Pictures here from flightradar24 show the Boeing 737-800 made a loop before flying back to Glasgow where it landed at 9.20am.
It is not yet known what caused the emergency to be declared.
Ryanair has not yet responded to questions.
