Ryanair launches new flights from Liverpool
Ryanair will launch new services to Copenhagen and Milan from Liverpool this winter.
The airline will also offer a new winter service to Prague, pushing its total number of weekly flights from Liverpool airport to more than 90.
Ryanair said it expected to handle two million passengers at Liverpool this year, a growth of 11%.
The airport’s director of air service director Paul Winfield said: "Today’s news means that since September last year, Ryanair has now announced seven new destinations from Liverpool including three capital cities.
"Further growth next winter and the current success of their forthcoming Summer programme, should make 2017 one of Ryanair’s busiest from Liverpool in recent years."
Ryanair will also offer new flights to Frankfurt from both Stansted and Manchester this winter. It will offer two daily flights from the London airport and six flights a week from Manchester.
