Ryanair launches new flights from Stansted
Ryanair will launch six new routes from Stansted this summer, giving it a total of 130, which it claims is more than British Airways offers from Heathrow.
However, BA said that by this summer it will operate 146 routes from Heathrow, 16 more than Ryanair will offer from Stansted.
Ryanair’s new routes for summer 2015 are Clermont, Cologne, Deauville, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ponta Delgada.
It will also offer more flights on 40 other routes and, for winter 2015, it will offer an additional daily flight from Stansted to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
It said the latter move was in response to ‘phenomenal’ demand from business travellers.
