Ryanair launches text service
Ryanair has launched a service that sends flight status text information to UK and Irish mobile phones.
Flight Tracker means anyone awaiting a Ryanair passenger can receive up to the minute information on the status of the flight and regular flight updates for £1.50.
From the UK, call 0844 8 93 93 93 from your mobile or text FR + flight number to 85122. From Ireland, call 0818 220 333 from your mobile or Text FR + flight number to 57252. For a demo, go to www.flighttracker.ie
Ryanair’s Sinead Finn said: “For just £1.50/ €2, Flight Tracker will keep you updated on departure and arrival times as well as providing important notifications on those rare occasions when a Ryanair flight is delayed. This service will allow people to keep those airport parking charges to a minimum. Simply call or text and receive flight updates directly to your mobile.â€
