Ryanair reports 20 per cent growth
Ryanair has reported passengers growing by 20% in December following its customer service initiatives.
The low cost airline said that passenger numbers grew from 5.02 million in December 2013 to 6.02 million last month.
Load factor also increased 7%, from 81% to 88%.
Ryanair’s chief marketing officer, Kenny Jacobs said: "Ryanair’s traffic grew by 20% to over 6m customers in December, while our load factor rose by 7% points to 88%, thanks to our lower fares, our stronger forward booking strategy and the continuing success of our "Always Getting Better" customer programme, which is delivering better than expected load factors in our significantly expanded winter schedule."
